12/5/11 I can't believe it's December! This year I have had some amazing shows and been a part of some incredible projects.
In 2011, I've been featured on 4 albums and the Bonus Track from J-Boogie's Newly released album. One of the albums, with MongoRama, was just nominated for a GRAMMY for "Best Tropical Latin Album"! In Spring, I Sang @ the UCLA Jazz Fest w/ Miguel Atwood-Ferguson where we backed Me'shell Ndegeocello, Bilal, Talib Kweli and more. Urban Legend was the house band for the Spike TV Guys Choice awards. A song I co-wrote with Level's Audio and performed was featured in Kevin Hart's new film "Laugh at my Pain". In July, I taught vocals @ Jam Camp West to youth in the redwoods for a week. This past weekend, I recorded @ The legendary Westlake Studios for my original music! We were able to use Studio D known as the Michael Jackson Studio. I can't wait to get you this music! I feel extremely blessed to have worked with so many powerful musicians, producers and song writers and to be able to share with all of you. I hope this finds you in an inspired place in your life!  6/21/2011 GRAMMY NOMINATED for "Best Tropical Latin Album"! Jose Rizo of 88.1 KJAZZ released a Charanga Jazz album with all-star musicians including Poncho Sanchez, Hubert Laws, Oscar Hernandez and more. Check out the track I'm on "Bubba Boogaloo"
