Seven-time Grammy nominee John Santos opens our Winter Series with his highly acclaimed Latin jazz sextet featuring special guest vocalist, Destani Wolf. Among the premier Afro-Latin Jazz musical groups in the United States, their repertoire features exciting arrangements from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the States, as well as original compositions. The group illuminates the aesthetic characteristics of Latin Jazz pertaining to instrumentation, rhythm, interpretation and improvisation. With the sweet and powerful voice of Destani Wolf, this concert will have us all on our feet!
