With her multi-octave range and soul-drenched sound, Berkeley-raised vocalist Destani Wolf is one of the most exciting singers to emerge from the Bay Area scene. Mentored by masters such as percussionist John Santos and Oakland Blues/Funk Guitarist Johnny Talbot, she recorded with Machete Ensemble, O-maya and The Pharcyde.

Moving down to Los Angeles a decade ago opened up numerous doors for her, like performing and recording with Quantic, Matisyahu, Shuggie Otis, Alice Russell, Seu Jorge, Zap Mama and Talib Kweli. Since moving back to Berkeley in 2016 she’s been reintroducing her newest songs of positivity and empowerment. In these trying times she exudes hope and strength in her heart-felt performance with her award-winning EP Peek Away project that makes a compelling case for Wolf’s evolving talent as a songwriter.
