Lead singer of Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR, award winning vocalist Destani Wolf, for over 15 years has taught professional musicians to beginners, children to adults, voice over actors & producers, to people who want to find healing through their own voice. She is currently in MOTION with Bobby McFerrin and on the vocal faculty at San Francisico Music Conservatory . Professor Wolf believes in creating a nurturing and fun space rooted in classical technique for her students to explore the power of the most vulnerable instrument, the voice.

Destani’s own studies of the voice began at 9 years old. Growing up in the richly diverse SF Bay Area she learned everything from Jazz to hip hop, reggae, latin and soul. She continued lessons through her college scholarship studying classical technique with opera star Shigemi Matsumoto while receiving her BA in Music with an emphasis in Vocal performance.

Through her professional career of performing, touring and recording internationally, she has gained great control, power and endurance with an ability to touch her audiences worldwide. Her experience touring for two years with Cirque du Soleil, singing over 250 shows, 8-10 shows a week has given her valuable knowledge to share. Her goal at workshops, private lessons and master classes is to teach fundamentals, improvisation and to ignite the source of feeling in order for each student to have the freedom of a diverse vocal pallet, their own sound and a journey where the mind let’s go and heart shares what’s within.
